This is a record I’ve waited a long time for.  I remember the first time I saw Yusuf, watching him play guitar and thinking “I don’t know enough about guitar playing to be certain, but that looks fucking difficult!”

Turn on the Long Wire was completed with the help of the Scottish Arts Council, and combines loops and layers of both digital and analogue tracks, many of which are strings and many of which simply highly treated recordings of Yusuf’s own voice.

The first 300 copies of this will be hand-folded, and one of thirty different designs issued at random (well, unless you buy one at a show, in which case you get to choose, obviously).
