Limited vinyl pressing only 500 copies on clear vinyl and a double-sealed transparent sleeve.
This historic recording was actually made in two years earlier than Jaco Pastorius' "debut" LP, Jaco. Here Paul Bley gives Pastorius the opportunity to lead his own session featuring a young Pat Metheny on guitar (also one of Metheny's first recordings), Paul Bley on keyboards and Bruce Ditmas on drums.
The songs are Carla Bley / Paul Bley penned tracks except for Annette Peacock's "Blood".
