We have no idea why he’s called himself Antwerp, (we should ask), but what we do know is that this wide-eyed schizoid music maker has been firing up our imagination like no-one else of late.   Maybe it has something to do with his fearless approach – “every accidental mistake we do playing music, generates new ideas and open the gates to the irrational” – or maybe it’s simply that over the course of his tracks, muted trumpets crash into lo-fi lying guitars while a sea of electronic pulses swirl beneath forever tumbling us up and down.
